On Thursday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will be in Oregon to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Before the game, the team announced that they had made a roster move by assigning Sidy Cissoko to the G League.

Cissoko was the 44th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, has played in four games for the Spurs this season, and has averages of 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 25.0% from the field.
He has spent a lot of time in the G League and is averaging 10.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 28.9% from the three-point range in 11 games.

As for the Spurs, they are off to a slow start to the season and have a 4-25 record in their first 29 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference.
They are 1-9 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game losing streak.
Following Thursday's game, the Spurs and Trail Blazers will face off (again) in Oregon on Friday.
On the road, the Spurs are 2-12 in the 14 games they have played away from San Antonio.

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with an 8-21 record in their first 29 games.
